Final Summer Outfits :(

On Thursday I got the awesome opportunity to do a photoshoot of a few outfits with my talented friend, Dane. Make sure to check out his photography page on Instagram @muivisuals to see some incredible photos. Here is one of the looks we shot:

This is a total boho, summer look. Crochet paired with denim always makes for a "free people vibe." These jean shorts are my absolute favorite. I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I have worn them. Having a good, basic pair of jean shorts is essential because they go with anything!! I have worn everything with these from long sleeve fancier shirts to graphic tees to boho shirts like this. I picked them up at a store in Boulder, Colorado. Always check out the stores when you are in different places; you can find things that nobody else has!!!!!!!

I just got this top. I got it at the LF sale in Brooklyn. LF is one of my favorite places to shop, but never ever go there unless they are having a sale. It is ridiculously over priced. It is one of those pieces that I fell in love with when I tried on and just knew it was super cool. I didn't know exactly what I would wear it with, but I knew it was a cool piece I couldn't pass up. It has so much cool detail; it is one of those pieces that you don't really need to accessorize that much because it is already so dynamic and interesting to look at. It is really good to have a few things like this in your closet. That way when you are stressed about picking out a cute outfit, you can just throw on a top like this and know your look is cool and interesting.

The accessories in this look are very minimal. I am wearing a Free People bralette. Honestly guys I wear these more than I wear regular bras. They look good under everything and are so comfortable. This tannish color that I'm wearing is perfect because it's kind of a neutral but kind of a color also, so it matches with a lot of thing but at the same time adds to the look.

Im wearing this awesome beaded necklace I found at a jewelry store in New Jersey. You will soon learn that many of the things in my wardrobe are from random places haha. I find things in all different places I go. I really think that is the key to style and having a killer wardrobe. You have to think outside the box and look in places that other people wouldn't. It is fun to be original and creative!!! Plus, you will always get compliments on your outfits if you wear something no one has seen before!!

Here are the shoes I paired with this outfit. I absolutely love these colorful Sam Edelman sandals!! They look great with simple outfits.
